the power of persuasion

by Peter Weber - Wednesday, December 9th, 2009

The strength of any great team is the ability to collaborate and execute a common goal. The focus at Keller Crescent Advertising is simple… Develop advertising strategy that motivates consumers to engage with and purchase our clients’ products and services.

We don’t waste time creating monikers for what we do, but rather exist to develop big enduring ideas that create a competitive advantage in the marketplace. This starts with establishing the product’s point of differentiation and why would this resonate with a consumer?

Keller Crescent Advertising has swept the Graphic Design Annual Awards for the third year in a row. The agency won an incredible 12 awards in this year’s competition, the most by any firm.

“Although our focus is on advertising and coming up with big enduring ideas to build brands, it’s great to know that when one of our clients needs a label design or stunning packaging, we have art directors of such superior talent they can deliver world-class work,” Peter Weber, agency president said.

managing the workforce and yourself out of tough times

by Anne Duell - Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

Congratulations. You are a survivor—counted among the lucky ones whose position/department/company has had the good fortune to survive the recession thus far. Good fortune, however, doesn’t make for stellar performance. You continue to experience dysfunctional work groups, disrupted communication, and old systems not prepared to handle the changed operations. Do more with less is the request but 10 lbs. stuffed in a 5 lb. bag is the perception.

Many of us have been through a few of these tough times over the years. When I started my career, we were in the height of a recession. I didn’t know it would get better (thank heaven it did). I was just thrilled to have a job—in my field! Then there was the time we grew the start-up company a little too fast and had to cut loose an office. I can’t forget the time I was in the satellite office that got closed, either. The most challenging for me is the ever-present gift of healthcare reform, when healthcare system management debates which dedicated healthcare workers must be released and which advancements won’t make the budget to keep the balance sheet balanced.

buy a new suit for your website

by Tim Piazza - Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

When planning your budget for online marketing, it’s important to set priorities that give you the greatest benefit without squandering valuable resources. Websites are often overlooked because it’s a hassle to make major changes that often require a complete redesign. But think for a moment - all of your other online marketing efforts lead people to your website, so shouldn’t that be your first priority?

People often tell us that their current website is adequate because it was designed just a few years ago, and not much business comes from the website anyway. At the rate things change on the internet, a few years is a long time. Fashions change fast in the online world. A site that wears like an old and rumpled suit doesn’t make a good first impression to your potential customers and business partners. Today’s websites are more dynamic, provide newsworthy information, and invite interaction. They’re social media savvy and can push updates to sites like Facebook and Twitter, as well as pull updates from a variety of sources.

by Tim Piazza - Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

It’s no simple task to describe the many services of Industrial Contractors, Incorporated. This Evansville, Indiana-based commercial contractor fabricates custom equipment for factories, builds schools and power plants, and manages facilities of all sorts. Complexity often leads to confusion, and ICI wanted a way to tell their story simply and elegantly, letting their work do much of the talking for them.
